Delicious savory or sweet, oatmeal is a staple in many households come fall – and we especially love that it can easily be made allergy-friendly. From baked and loaded to classically creamy, here are some of our favorite dairy-free oatmeal recipes to warm up chilly mornings.
Oatmeal Recipe, from The Big Man’s World
With the sweet, gooey flavors of a fresh cinnamon roll and the hearty nutrition of a bowl of oatmeal, this baked breakfast dish combines the best of both worlds – and the result is one you’ll want to make over and over. As a bonus, the accompanying (and seriously delicious) glaze is made with protein powder, to help jumpstart an early morning.

If you love peaches, then you’ve got to try this recipe – and even if you don’t, you should consider giving it a go. With creamy coconut, fresh (or frozen) fruit and a dash of cinnamon, these satisfying oats pack a lot of naturally sweet flavor into each warm, comforting and filling bowl of breakfast goodness.
Oatmeal Recipe, from Sweet Roots
If you’ve never made baked oatmeal before, this simple recipe is a perfect introduction – and easy to customize once you get the hang of it, which won’t take long. The addition of chia seeds gives this a boost of plant-based protein, and the fruit (fresh bananas and blueberries) can easily be swapped out for what you have on hand.
Oatmeal Recipe, from Chocolate Covered Katie
Looking for something a bit more seasonal? This one’s for you. The recipe calls for pureed pumpkin, vanilla, warming pumpkin pie spice – and some (dairy-free) chocolate chips, just to kick things up a notch. Use cashew, coconut or almond milk for creaminess, top with coconut butter, and you’ve got an indulgent, dairy-free delight.

If you’re a fan of Bananas Foster, then you’ll surely enjoy this oatmeal dish. It’s basically the classic dessert in (delicious, nutritious, plant-based) breakfast form. Ripe bananas are sautéed in coconut oil, vanilla and maple syrup, and then added to a creamy, comforting and satisfying baked oatmeal to create the perfect start to your day.
Oatmeal Recipe, from 86 Lemons
If you’re still looking for tasty ways to use up the last of your summer produce, you’ll definitely want to add this recipe to the list. It features the fragrant flavors of zucchini bread and carrot cake, but is more nutritious and much easier to make than either. Top with a sprinkle of toasted nuts or seeds, and enjoy.
