While on our constant quest to find the best-ever dairy-free foods and recipes (and, in particular, recipes that use our own deliciously dairy-free products) we at Daiya are always finding new food blogs that we love. And in the spirit of sharing, we wanted to take a moment to introduce you to a few that we’ve recently come to enjoy and depend on for interesting information, beautiful photos, and (most importantly) mouthwatering dairy-free recipes.
All of the recipes on Lexie’s Kitchen are gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free, low in sugar – and seriously delicious. (She even has a cookbook out that you can order from Amazon.) Along with plenty of food, you’ll find reviews of products that interest the blogger and her son, whose specific dietary needs inspired Lexie’s Kitchen.
We first discovered Vegan Richa when she began creating deliciously dairy-free recipes made with Daiya products – and we were immediately hooked! Her flavorful, gluten-free, soy-free and low-oil recipes are often inspired by her Indian heritage – and the accompanying photographs are absolutely beautiful.
Do you have a child with food allergies, and are you looking to create tasty treats for him and her? Then you need to follow this blog. From holiday-themed snacks to (of course) lots of delicious cookies, the recipes here are ones your little one will ask for over and over – and they’re all easy to make, and free of the top eight allergens.
Angela of Oh She Glows has an obvious love of plant-based foods – and we have an obvious love of her beautiful photos and inspiring recipes. Here’s where you’ll find vegan versions of blueberry muffins and casseroles – as well as informative articles like How to Pack Food for a Weekend Away in an Hour.
“Raised on meat, now watch me-eat!” is the slogan emblazoned on this lighthearted food blog, which specializes in creating plant-based takes on American comfort foods. You’ll find vegan recipes for things like BLT sandwiches, cauliflower “wings” and “lobster” rolls (made with lobster mushrooms) as well as pretty much anything you could order from a diner.
This fantastic food blog is one of our most recent discoveries – and boy, are we glad that we stumbled upon it! The collection of dairy-free recipes here goes far beyond the expected to include creative twists on Middle Eastern treats like knafeh and hirra bisba’o – and yes, there is plenty of Daiya.
Of course, Daiya regularly posts a variety of articles, recipes, nutritional information and more, focused on maintaining a dairy-free lifestyle. Stay up-to-date with the latest happenings going on in the plant-based world here!
