Self-Care Tips for the Holidays

With Thanksgiving fast approaching, now’s the time to think about how we’re going to take care of ourselves during the busy weeks of November and December. Here are 10 tips to try during the holidays and keep at the ready year-round.

  1. Start the day strong. Breakfast burritos anyone?
  2. Say yes to saying no to avoid over-scheduling.
  3. Book some “me” time. Read a book, get that workout in.
  4. Resist the urge to over-decorate for Instagram glory.
  5. Ask for help to prep for big events. Friends pitch in.
  6. Keep healthy meals and snacks on hand.
  7. #GetOutside! Breathe deep and enjoy the fresh air.
  8. Make meals ahead of time. Soup is always welcome.
  9. Music makes the moment. Share favorite playlists.
