Chipotle Maple Glazed Tofu Burger


  • 1 Block Tofu, (Extra Firm)
  • 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
  • 3 Chipotle Chiles in Adobo Sauce, (Minced)
  • 3 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Pinch salt
  • 8 Slices Daiya Smoked Gouda Style Slices


Whisk together maple syrup, minced chilis and apple cider vinegar in a medium bowl.

Slice the tofu into thick squares and cover with marinade. Cover container and refrigerate over night.

Place the tofu slices on a parchment-lined baking tray and bake for 30 minutes at 300 degrees.

Reduce remaining marinade in a saucepan until thickened.

Baste all sides of tofu after 30 minutes with the reduced sauce. Return to oven for an additional 40 minutes.

Repeat basting and bake for a final 30 minutes.

Top burger with Daiya Smoked Gouda Style Slices and veggies.
