Preheat the oven to 375F
In a large bowl combine 1 1/2 cups of shreds, salt, pepper and the cream cheeze style spread. Add in the frozen hash browns and stir until the mixture coats all of the hashbrowns
Add the cheezy hash browns into a casserole dish and top with the remaining 1/2 cup of shreds.
Cover and cook at 375 F for 35-40 minutes then broil for 5 more minutes to get the top layer of shreds extra melty.
