Daiya Mac and Cheeze Fries

Ingredients

  • 1 box Daiya Deluxe Cheddar Style Cheezy Mac, prepared
  • aquafaba, from 1 can of chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup arrowroot starch
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1-2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 - 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • oil, for frying

Instructions

Spread out mac and cheese on a parchment paper lined baking sheet, cover with another piece of parchment paper and freeze 4 hours or overnight.

Using a pizza cutter, slice frozen Mac and cheese into 1 inch by 4 inch pieces.

Dip each into aquafaba then starch.

In a separate bowl, prepare spice mix, set aside.

Heat oil in cast iron skillet - when ready fry until crisp on edges.

Let rest on paper towel and dip while hot into spice mix. Enjoy!
