The plant-based cheese favorite is serving up serious flavor, now at Walmart

VANCOUVER, BC, March 29, 2023 - Daiya, leader in the plant-based food market, announces the availability of its newest product innovation, Chick’n style shreds, that will be exclusively featured on top of new signature pizza and flatbread flavors. To meet the market demand for a plant-based chicken alternative, these products represent the first time that plant-based and allergen friendly pizzas and flatbreads featuring chick’n style shreds will be available in frozen aisles in stores across the US.

Chick’n style pizzas and flatbreads bring consumers go-to, easy meal options in the most in-demand frozen aisle flavors of the moment: barbeque and ranch. These pizza and flatbread offerings make great strides to close the plant versus dairy food gap by replicating the most popular dairy based foods with high quality, plant-based ingredients.

Extensive research and development went into creating Daiya’s new Chick’n style shredded toppings. Not only will the Chick’n style pizzas and flatbreads be the first-of-their-kind on the market, but the shreds are free of the eight most popular allergens that affect people with food sensitivities – including soy which is found in the majority of plant-based chicken offerings. These products were sampled at Natural Products Expo West earlier this month, and the resounding feedback was that Daiya is introducing a tasty and game-changing product into the market.
