Reporting to the Controller, the General Accountant supports the Accounting Department by collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information as well overseeing Accounts Payable duties.

Reporting to the Cost Accountant Manager, the Junior Cost Accountant supports the Cost Accounting function by collecting, updating, analyzing, verifying, and reporting manufacturing costs accurately and in a timely manner.
Our Health and Safety Coordinator develops, maintains and protects health and safety standards within Daiya in accordance with current health and safety legislation. This role works to prevent and eliminate injury and illness to team members and assist with compliance with safety regulations. Includes team member training, inspecting workplaces, and minimizing or eliminating hazards from processes, such as incorrect working methods, and materials, such as potentially toxic chemicals. The Red Seal Certified Journeyman Electrician must possess fundamental and specialized knowledge and skills related to the installation and maintenance of electrical devices and components found in industrial settings. The Industrial Electrician inspects, installs, troubleshoots, repairs and services (includes calibration and preventive/predictive maintenance) electrical equipment such as motors, generators, pumps, heavy duty machines, environmental regulating systems, communication systems; and associated electrical and electronic controls for food production.
The Industrial Electrician is also responsible for working together with the rest of the maintenance team to complete Work Orders and follow a Preventive Maintenance Program. This position may require shift hours.
The Journeyman Industrial Millwright must possess fundamental and specialized knowledge and skills related to troubleshooting and providing preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines and facilitating equipment change-over.
The Millwright is responsible for working together with the rest of the maintenance team to complete new projects, work orders and follow a Preventive Maintenance Program. This position requires shiftwork (rotating once a month).
As our Maintenance Parts Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the maintenance spares inventory in an organized, clean, and accurate manner. You will interact with outside vendors and keep accurate records of Purchase Orders, Work Orders, and parts allocation to assist the maintenance department with the sourcing of parts for all work orders in a timely manner.
Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm; Shift start times may subject change depending on operational requirements
Our Production Manager provides leadership to the management and supervision of the manufacturing processes, to ensure scheduled production levels are met for each shift and high-level sanitation is complete to meet Food Safety and QA standards. The Production Manager will work with the Director, Plant Operations to research and implement processes that minimize costs and waste while maximizing the highest quality production outputs.
The Production Manager will ensure that manufacture of products is carried out in accordance with internal and external standards and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP and SQF requirements along with Work Safe BC standards.
Our Process Engineer will manage and direct engineering functions to meet company objectives for new product development and improvement of existing product lines. This role will be responsible for the efficient development of processes at production scale, sourcing and modification of equipment, manufacture of samples, and leading new equipment trials. Key skills for this role are problem-solving and have a keen interest in working collaboratively to develop new processes and improve current ones. Ability to travel to our co-packers is also a critical requirement.
The R&D Lab Supervisor collaborates to advance team objectives by maintaining a high-quality lab space, developing robust analytical methods, and supervising lab team’s daily tasks. This role works independently, quickly, and accurately to deliver tasks and sub-projects, including the creation and maintenance of new scientific tools and protocols. Work may include, but is not limited to: scientific research, equipment and material sourcing, experimental design, analytical testing, data analysis and interpretation, and SOP development. They are responsible for driving company growth through collaborating and innovating to develop creative solutions and ensure maintenance of high standard lab and analytical practices.
As an International Sales Director, this role is accountable for sales growth and product distribution in our international markets. You are a critical driver of the management of all selling and executional activities to achieve customer revenue and profit targets. This role capitalizes on major account opportunities and forms the crucial link between Daiya and the customer with proactive business-building initiatives that have been the cornerstone of our sales success.
Through the development of a collaborative relationship with customers, this role is the key link between Daiya Foods and customers on all international business development opportunities and challenges.
Our Demand Planner is responsible for the development and management of a demand planning & forecasting tool to support the company’s aggressive growth. Responsibility includes ensuring data accuracy for short-term and long-term demand at Daiya’s own facility and Co-Packers; reviewing current forecasts data with the Sales team; developing and facilitating the Sales and Operations (S&OP) process. This role is required to have strong interpersonal skills to provide planning and forecasting support and expertise to cross-functional teams, such as Scheduling, Logistics, Purchasing, Operations, and R&D.
Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for managing and optimizing all warehouse inventory levels while achieving Daiya’s service level goals, assisting in training Team Members on inventory handling best practices, and supporting the Warehouse Manager on workflow and warehouse functions.
The Inventory Control Supervisor will drive inventory accuracy through analysis and physical counts while processing transactions across internal warehouses, 3rd party warehouses and co-packer facilities.
