You are obsessed with finding innovative ways of storytelling – you’re our Senior Digital Marketing Manager. You should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. The Senior Digital Marketing Manager will work very closely with the Marketing Team, other cross functional teams and the digital agency to launch campaigns on time and on budget.
Daiya is looking for a creative, hardworking, highly motivated Junior Graphic Designer to help our creative team bring and support on-going print and digital projects to life. The Junior Graphic Designer will apply their talents to a wide range of projects, while collaborating and reporting directly to the Senior Graphic Designer from concept through to production, while honing your technical skills and attention to detail. These attributes, combined with a strong work-ethic, enthusiastic personality, and obvious passion for design, is essential to helping us round out our creative team, while supporting your growth as a designer.
This will be a one (1) year contract with a possibility of extension.
The Red Seal Certified Journeyman Electrician must possess fundamental and specialized knowledge and skills related to the installation and maintenance of electrical devices and components found in industrial settings. The Industrial Electrician inspects, installs, troubleshoots, repairs and services (includes calibration and preventive/predictive maintenance) electrical equipment such as motors, generators, pumps, heavy duty machines, environmental regulating systems, communication systems; and associated electrical and electronic controls for food production.
The Industrial Electrician is also responsible for working together with the rest of the maintenance team to complete Work Orders and follow a Preventive Maintenance Program. This position may require shift hours.
Our Production Manager provides leadership to the management and supervision of the manufacturing processes, to ensure scheduled production levels are met for each shift and high-level sanitation is complete to meet Food Safety and QA standards. The Production Manager will work with the Director, Plant Operations to research and implement processes that minimize costs and waste while maximizing the highest quality production outputs.
The Production Manager will ensure that manufacture of products is carried out in accordance with internal and external standards and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP and SQF requirements along with Work Safe BC standards.
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Supervisor, the Quality Control Technician ensures that Daiya’s food safety and quality standards are enforced and maintained at all stages of the manufacturing processes through routine quality monitoring, sampling and testing.
Our Sr. R&D Technologist, Product Development leads and supports significant technical components of R&D projects, utilizing strong innovation, product development, and research skills to advance team and department objectives. They work collaboratively and independently to design and execute technical work, from benchtop testing to product commercialization. This role conducts all types of technical work including but not limited to: scientific research, product concept refinement, raw material sourcing, product formulation, benchtop prototype development, experimental design, analytical testing, data analysis and interpretation, scale up testing, co-packer assessment, process optimizing, shelf life testing, sensory testing, stability analysis and product commercialization. The role may be required to supervise and support other team members in delivering tasks. They are responsible for driving company growth through collaborating, innovating, and experimenting to develop creative product and process solutions.
As our Sales Director, Retail, this role is accountable for sales growth and product distribution within our retail Canadian market. You are a critical driver of the management of all selling and executional activities to achieve customer revenue and profit targets within your territory. This role capitalizes on maintaining relationships with our existing customers, as well as major account opportunities and forms the crucial link between Daiya and the customer with proactive business-building initiatives that have been the cornerstone of our sales success.
Through the development of a collaborative relationship with our customers, this role is the key link between Daiya Foods and customers on all retail business development opportunities and challenges.
As our Director, NA Food Service Sales, this role is accountable for sales growth and product distribution within our NA food service sales channel. You are a critical driver of the management of all selling and executional activities to achieve customer revenue and profit targets within this area. This role capitalizes on maintaining relationships with our existing customers, as well as major account opportunities and forms the crucial link between Daiya and the customer with proactive business-building initiatives that have been the cornerstone of our sales success.
Through the development of a collaborative relationship with our customers, this role is the key link between Daiya Foods and customers on all food service business development opportunities and challenges within North America. This role will also provide leadership for our food service regional, territory and inside sales managers.
Our Director, Procurement is a key position responsible for daily leadership and direction in the Procurement team that will support the high growth initiatives of the business. This role will work closely with the VP, Operations and Director, Supply Chain and will oversee the Planning and Procurement functions. Coupled with a wealth of strategic procurement experience and expert negotiation skills, this role is required to have strong interpersonal skills to provide leadership to vendors, internal stakeholders and ultimately our customers and consumers.
The Accounts Payable (AP) Associate is responsible for providing financial and administrative support in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations.
The AP Associate reports to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and is responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical services. This includes processing and monitoring payments and expenditures. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure that finances are accurate and up to date, that staff are paid in a timely and appropriate manner and that vendors and suppliers are paid within established time limits are important functions for this team member. This role will complete payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Works closely with other AP Associates in a collaborative and collegial manner.
This will be a one (1) year contract with a possibility of extension or becoming permanent.
