IT Support Coordinator

Reporting to the Business Systems and IT Manager, the IT Support Coordinator is a customer-service oriented individual to provide business and technology first-level support to our team members through phone, email, and in-person assistance. This role responsible for installing, configuring and troubleshooting PCs, Windows servers, printers, network devices and peripheral equipment. Includes providing business systems support for Syspro, Office 365, Zendesk and SharePoint.

Human Resources Director

Our experienced Human Resources Director leverages their expertise as a business partner and driver for change within a growing and dynamic company. We are a passionate team who are working together to change the way the world eats with our amazing plant-based food products. Our unique culture is our special sauce that makes it so meaningful to be a Daiyan!

Due to our impressive growth, we are now adding an HR Director to support our HR team and business. Our HR Director will be responsible for working with the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead the areas of recruiting and retention, change management, and HR program implementation. This role leads our HR team of 5 and is based out of our offices in Vancouver, BC.


Consumer Experience Coordinator

Our Consumer Experience Coordinator will work closely with the Consumer Experience Manager to build meaningful and insightful connections with our consumers. This individual will be committed to knowledgeable, empathetic and exceptional customer service. Our Consumer Experience Coordinator will answer incoming calls and e-mails from customers, respond enthusiastically to inquiries and questions, effectively manage complaints, troubleshoot problems and provide information. This role requires an individual with great social skills who is adaptable, personable, empathetic, and self-driven. The ideal candidate must love customer service and be willing to go the extra mile to put a smile the faces of our loyal consumers.


Industrial Millwright

The Journeyman Industrial Millwright must possess fundamental and specialized knowledge and skills related to troubleshooting and providing preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines and facilitating equipment change-over.
The Millwright is responsible for working together with the rest of the maintenance team to complete new projects, work orders and follow a Preventive Maintenance Program. This position requires shiftwork (rotating once a month).

Sanitation Associate

Our Sanitation Associate is responsible for ensuring the daily cleaning and sanitation of all food processing and manufacturing equipment to company and industry standards ensuring no damage of equipment during this process. This position is responsible for the handling, use and application of sanitation chemicals.

Research and Development

Process Engineer

Our Process Engineer will manage and direct engineering functions to meet company objectives for new product development and improvement of existing product lines. This role will be responsible for the efficient development of processes at production scale, sourcing and modification of equipment, manufacture of samples, and leading new equipment trials. Key skills for this role are problem-solving and have a keen interest in working collaboratively to develop new processes and improve current ones. Ability to travel to our co-packers is also a critical requirement.

R&D Technologist – Scientific Innovation

Our R&D Technologist – Scientific Innovation (SI) leads and supports significant technical components of R&D projects, utilizing strong innovation, product development, and research skills to advance team and department objectives. This team member will work collaboratively and independently to design and execute technical work, from benchtop testing to product commercialization. This role conducts all types of technical work including but not limited to: scientific research, product concept refinement, raw material sourcing, product formulation, benchtop prototype development, experimental design, analytical testing, data analysis and interpretation, scale up testing, co-packer assessment, process optimizing, shelf life testing, sensory testing, stability analysis and product commercialization. May be required to supervise and support other team members in delivering tasks. Our R&D Technologist is responsible for driving company growth through collaborating, innovating, and experimenting to develop creative product and process solutions.

Supply Chain

Director, Supply Chain

Our Director of Supply Chain is a key position responsible for daily leadership and direction in the Supply Chain team, both at the current facility and the new facility that will be up and running in 2019. This role will oversee the Logistics and Warehousing functions, and work closely with the VP of Supply Chain on the Planning and Procurement functions. Coupled with a wealth of Supply Chain experience, this role is required to have strong interpersonal skills to provide leadership to vendors, internal stakeholders and ultimately our customers and consumers.
