Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, the Brand Manager will be responsible for creating consumer demand for key product lines that are the primary growth opportunities for the brand. The successful candidate will be a proven thought leader who is also capable of leading cross-functional teams and agencies to execute brand building initiatives, optimize product lines and deliver sustainable profit growth.
The Journeyman Industrial Millwright must possess fundamental and specialized knowledge and skills related to troubleshooting and providing preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines and facilitating equipment change-over.
The Millwright is responsible for working together with the rest of the maintenance team to complete new projects, work orders and follow a Preventive Maintenance Program. This position requires shiftwork (rotating once a month).
The QA Technologist ensures that Daiya’s food safety and quality standards are enforced and maintained at all stages of the manufacturing processes; and supports the continuous operation of production line.
Monday to Friday (4:00am – 12:30pm); Shift start times may subject change depending on operational requirements
Our Process Engineer will manage and direct engineering functions to meet company objectives for new product development and improvement of existing product lines. This role will be responsible for the efficient development of processes at production scale, sourcing and modification of equipment, manufacture of samples, and leading new equipment trials. Key skills for this role are problem-solving and have a keen interest in working collaboratively to develop new processes and improve current ones. Ability to travel to our co-packers is also a critical requirement.
The Technical Lab Coordinator works collaboratively to validate and test various analytical methods to support the delivery of team projects and tasks. This role works independently, efficiently, and accurately to deliver tasks and assignments that advance department and company objectives. Work may include, but is not limited to: Literature research, experimental design, analytical testing, data analysis and interpretation, stability analysis, shelf life testing, and predictive modelling. Working closely with the R&D Lab supervisor and the R&D Manager – Scientific Innovation, this individual will aid in the development and standardization of analytic tests and protocols, ultimately improving Daiya product quality standards.
Our Director of Supply Chain is a key position responsible for daily leadership and direction in the Supply Chain team, both at the current facility and the new facility that will be up and running in 2019. This role will oversee the Logistics and Warehousing functions, and work closely with the VP of Supply Chain on the Planning and Procurement functions. Coupled with a wealth of Supply Chain experience, this role is required to have strong interpersonal skills to provide leadership to vendors, internal stakeholders and ultimately our customers and consumers.
Our Order Fulfillment Associate acts as the first point of contact with the customers and plays a key role in assuring customer satisfaction and a positive experience. This is a great role for someone with a customer focus and the right attitude, energy and enthusiasm.
Our Order Fulfillment Associate works in a fast-paced environment as a problem solver, quick thinker and resourceful individual. The Order Fulfillment Associate must communicate efficiently and rapidly to ensure that customers have the answers they are looking for.
Our Purchasing Manager is responsible for developing, leading and executing procurement strategies. Our Purchasing Manager manages and oversees processes for inventory, purchasing and cost management. The role supports the improvement of existing products and the development of new products. Our Purchasing Manager is responsible for decision making in the production plan, in addition to supervising, mentoring and coaching the Senior Buyers and Junior Buyer.
Our Supply Chain Planner is responsible for the development of a weekly inventory planning to support the company’s aggressive growth. Responsibility includes reviewing production capacity internally and at co-packers, supporting procurement replenishment buying, driving supply chain efficiency and improving throughput. This role is required to have strong interpersonal skills to provide logistical support and expertise to cross-functional teams, such as Logistics, Purchasing, Operations, R&D, and QA.
