Smokey Maple Ranch Wrap

Here’s a new and delicious lunch idea! A smokey maple ranch wrap that’s filled with plant-based flavor thanks to the tempeh bacon. This recipe is so easy and delicious it’s going to become your new lunchtime staple.


  • 1 250g package tempeh
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 tbsp tamari
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1-2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 head butter lettuce
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 beet, grated
  • 4 pita
  • 1 bottle Daiya Homestyle Ranch Dairy-Free Dressing


In a small dish combine tamari, maple syrup and smoked paprika.

Slice the tempeh in 1/4 to 1/2 inch strips.

Warm a skillet over high heat and add olive oil. When the oil is hot, add the tempeh. Cook for 2 minutes, to brown a bit. Then reduce heat to low and add the maple syrup mixture. Toss so all side of the tempeh begins to brown and the edges are caramelized.

Slice cucumber and grate the beet and carrot.

On the pita layer sliced cucumber, lettuce, grated carrots and beets. Top with the tempeh bacon and drizzle on the Daiya Homestyle Ranch Dressing.

Roll up and enjoy!
