With previous offerings spanning the lunch, dinner and snack categories, Daiya can now add ‘breakfast’ to its list, with the Greek Yogurt Alternative boasting 8g of protein and available in four delicious flavors, including peach, strawberry, black cherry and blueberry. Your spoon will be empty before you know it!

Try this quick and tasty gluten-free Blueberry Pancake Recipe, courtesy of Daiya:


  • 1⁄4 cup Daiya Blueberry Greek Yogurt Alternative
  • 1⁄2 cup gluten-free rolled oats
  • 1⁄2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1⁄2 ripe medium-sized banana
  • 6 Tbsp. egg white alternative
  • 1-2 Tbsp. almond milk (add more depending on the thickness of batter)
  • 1⁄2 tsp. vanilla extract


  1. Coat skillet with a light layer of olive oil and preheat over medium heat
  2. Blend all ingredients until oats are fully broken down and the batter is smooth and frothy; let the batter sit and thicken for a few minutes
  3. Pour batter onto skillet until the desired size of pancakes is reached and cook about 5 minutes, flipping halfway, until bubbles begin to form on the tops of the pancakes
  4. Add your favorite topping and enjoy!
